Adrianne Pieczonka would make her Bayreuth début as Senta for a new production of Der fliegende Holländer in 2012. German tenor Michael König will sing Erik. As it already known, Christian Thielemann will conduct.
In this September, Pieczonka successfully débuted the role at Paris with Matti Salminen, Klaus Florian Vogt and James Morris.
