Future maybes in NNTT

Following information is just rumour and there's no comfirmation.

[2011/12]
Salome seems to be staged in 2011 (or in 2011/12 season) with Russian soprano Mlada Khudoley as the title role and Christian Franz as Herodes.

Rusalka will be eventually staged at Hatsudai in 2011 (otherwise in 2012). Artistic Director of Norwegian Opera Paul Curran will direct the mermaid's tale.

La Bohème in January 2012. Young American tenor Arturo Chacon-Cruz as Rodolfo. Constantin Trinks will conduct, who led successful Don Giovanni in December 2008.

Otello on 1, 4, 7, 10 and 13 April 2012. Armenian baritone Mikael Babajanyan will sing Iago. Mario Martone's production will be staged again.

Don Giovanni in 2012 (or in 2012/13 season). Japanese bass-baritone Yasushi Hirano will sing Leporello.

[2012/13]
A new production of Tannhäuser in 2012/13 season would celebrate bicentennial of Wagner's birth or at least its eve. Constantin Trinks will be in the pit and American soprano Meagan Miller will sing Elisabeth.

The 2012/13 season's opener hasn't been known yet (perhaps Tannhäuser??) But Tosca will follow it. Simon O'Neill will sing Cavaradossi on 11, 14, 17, 20 and 23 November 2012.

For Verdi, Aida in March 2013 will be bicentenial celebration of his birth. Carlo Ventre will sing Radamès on 11, 14, 17, 20, 24, 27 and 30 March. It's not clear whether Franco Zeffirelli's well-made classic production will be revived as usual or a new one staged.

Così fan tutte in 2013 (or in 2013/14 season). German baritone Dominik Köninger will sing Guglielmo. Coming new production by Damiano Michieletto will be staged again, which premieres on 29 May 2011.

[Some time]
Dan Ettinger will come back to the pit of NNTT for Die Fledermaus.
